The cooking boxes of barbecues, smokers, ovens and other products for "Grilling" are painted with paint that is heat-resistant up to 1000 degrees. However, the paint acquires its full properties only after hardening. How to do this? The easiest way is to use charcoal for the first lighting. Another way is to slightly heat the box by adding some small firewood. Heating should last about 20-30 minutes. After hardening, the paint is no longer sensitive to heat, so the amount and type of firewood is not limited. Cook as often and as much as you want!

When lighting the barbecue, i.e. burning firewood or charcoal, the lid must be opened. The movable bottom should be raised at that time so that the air can circulate freely under it. This speeds up the preparation of the coals.
